Avoncourt Packaging
Shelf Display

Avoncourt produce a large range of display trays, most of which are custom made/bespoke. There are however, 90 existing shelf-display trays in our catalogue for general use, so please search here to see if we have something that will suit your needs.

For designing a new display tray, please see the various options/features below:

Standard flat cut. This is the simplest and least cost option. Any combination of open cavities or dividers are possible.
Shingled. The dividers on the base are angled, ensuring the product tilts backwards against each other.
'W' type Display tray. This is a useful design when vertical side walls are required (i.e. either to hold the product or when shelf space is critical).

Higher back wall. Gives maximum visibility. Coloured materials become a possibility as the front of the tray is not blocking the product.

Works well if the product is stable in the tray (i.e. low chance of falling forwards)

Rolled-Edge. Gives extra strength to the sides to stop them bowing outwards. Ideal if the product is very heavy or is being shrink-wrapped.

Insert/Runner. For cardboard Shelf-Ready Packaging, the problem is product falling forwards/backwards within the cardboard outer. The plastic insert runs the length of the outer keeping the product upright.

Male Tray/Full return wall. This design gives maximum stability to the tray which may be necessary if the width of the product is narrow (i.e. danger of product falling over). The disadvantage is that is takes up more space on the shelf.

You can also reduce the height of the front wall to give extra visibility to the product.
